HIGHLIGHTS
- The word Gobble does have multiple meanings, but in today’s NYT Connections, it is included in the blue group, “Eat Voraciously,” which aligns with its meaning of eating quickly and noisily.
- Down, Scarf, and Bolt are other remaining words for the Blue group, with Bolt referring to “to move quickly.”
- Appreciation, Fraudster, and ___ Tuesday are the remaining categories for November 28 NYT Connections.
Today’s NYT Connections marks the 536th day of its release. Throughout this journey, New York Times Publishers has succeeded in offering a wide range of words to connect.
Most of the time, words with similar meanings do not always fit together in the same group, making the game challenging for players.
Words like Grille And Buggy seemed challenging yesterday, while in today’s game, you will find Gobble and Bolt.
Answers For Today’s NYT Connections With Words Meanings (November 28)
After closely analyzing today’s NYT Connections words, the first four that came to mind were Credit, Raise, Recognition, and Thanks. They remind me of things that most employees rarely receive in an organization.
So, grouping out the words, I got the first yellow group titled “Appreciation.”
Con And Quack Meaning In Today’s NYT Connections
Analyzing the remaining words, I picked Fake, Cheat, and Con, with Con referring to an instance of deceiving or tricking someone.
While trying to figure out the remaining word, I learned about Quack (which I initially thought was just the sound a duck makes).
However, Quack has multiple meanings, including a slang term for someone who falsely pretends to have medical skills.
So, with all the words Quack, Cheat, Fake, and Con expressing the same thing somehow, I got the green group titled “Fraudster.”
Gobble And Bolt Meaning For November 28 NYT Connections
Moving on to the remaining words, I picked the word “Gobble” and tried to connect it with other words.
The word Gobble means to eat something hurriedly and noisily or use a large amount of (something) very quickly.
So, aligning with a similar meaning, I got the next word, Bolt, which means “to move quickly.”
After I got the two words, I was stuck in the game as I could not group any other similar words to group together.
Later, my friends suggested going for Down and Scarf. I would have considered Down, but Scarf, who does it, fits with Bolt and Gobble.
After getting the blue group titled “Eat Voraciously,” I learned that Scarf is a slang term for eating voraciously.
