The Grand Reef Guardian is one of the latest fishes to be added in Fisch. It is a Mythical fish that can only be obtained in the new Grand Reef area.
When you hook the Grand Reef Guardian, a pink exclamation icon will appear above your head. Furthermore, you can also hear a bell sound.
Catching The Grand Reef Guardian
To catch the Grand Reef Guardian, you must first head to Grand Reef and use Truffle Worm as bait.
Truffle Worm is the preferred bait for Guard Reef Guardian, so be sure you use them. Additionally, you can catch them at any time, weather, and season.
Reeling it in is tough because it slows your progress by 75%, just like other Mythical fish. You will need patience and skill to catch it successfully.
The exact smallest and largest sizes of the Grand Reef Guardian are unknown, but its average weight is over 60 kg.
It is a very valuable catch, offering 87.5C$/Kg, an average of 5250 C$, and 3,500 XP. This makes it a great choice for players who want to earn a lot of money and experience.
How To Obtain Truffle Worm
The Truffle Worm is a Legendary bait that increases preferred luck by 300 and slightly slows down lure speed.
It is the preferred bait for many rare fishes, including the Grand Reef Guardian and the Spectral Serpent.
Players can obtain it by opening Coral Geodes, Volcanic Geodes, or Treasure Chests, with a 10% chance to get six at once.
Finally, completing 50 Angler NPC quests or redeeming codes also works, but the best way is buying Coral Geodes from the Desolate Pocket shop for 600C$.
