Limited Time Golden Tide Quest In Fisch
An NPC named Dr. Glimmerfin, located on Moosewood Island, initiates the quest when you interact with him.
Interact with the scientist, who will task you with collecting four types of algae: Ancient Algae, Snowcap Algae, Forsaken Algae, and Mushgrove Algae.
Complete the quest to trigger a cutscene and receive the following rewards at the end.
- Dr Glimmerfin’s Boat
- The Firework Rod
- Glimmer Bobber
- Glimmerfin’s Pupil Title
While there is no exact location for the algae, each type can be found in specific areas.
Obtaining The Ancient Algae In Fisch
After interacting with the scientist, watch the text message that appears at the top of your screen.
Additionally, a waypoint will spawn guiding you to the recently spawned algae and showing the number of available algae.
Only two algae will spawn at a time, and it follows a first-come, first-served basis, where the players who catch it first will receive it.
Make sure you fish within the fishing pool to catch it and use a Fish Radar to check.
The algae appear for a limited time and will disappear if no one catches them before they vanish.
It is recommended to complete this event on a private server to avoid competing with other players for the algae.
Similarly, using a rod with a high level of luck will increase your chances of catching the Ancient Algae in Fisch.
