Along with the update, they introduced the Liberation of Undermine raid,which is now available for players to explore and uncover.
There is an optional story mode for the Liberation of Undermine in World of Warcraft’s Undermine(d) update.

The Liberation of Undermine raid features eight bosses, culminating in a battle with the notorious goblin leader, Jastor Gallywix.
Players will face various challenges within the raid, including battling various goblin enemies.
It is the second raid of the War Within expansion, released on March 4th, 2025, as part of the 11.1 update.
The various bosses players must face in the raid are listed below.
- Vexie Fullthrottle
- Cauldron of Carnage
- Rik Reverb
- Stix Bunkjunker
- Sprocketmonger Lockenstock
- One-Armed Bandit
- Mug’Zee
- Chrome King Gallywix
Each of these goblin bosses has a distinct playstyle and unique strategies that players must use to defeat them.
Story Mode For The Liberation Of UnderMined
Story mode lets players experience a climactic battle by integrating the encounters with the current storyline.
The game mode includes a quest where players must defeat Chrome King Gallywix in the raid, which can be completed on any difficulty.
Players must first complete Chapter 5 of the campaign, “Ignite the Fuel of Change,” to unlock Story Mode.
Even if players have completed the campaign, they must still wait until March 11 to access Story Mode.
Players can enter the Liberation of Undermine through an entrance conveniently located at the Incontinental Hotel.
Interact with Paks Topskimmer, the hotel concierge, to gain access to the story mode of the raid.
For quick travel, players can set their Hearthstone at the Incontinental Hotel or use the Flightpoint.
Completing this quest will reward players with Reputation for the Cartels of Undermine and Valorstones.
Additionally, players receive the Enchanted Runed Undermine Crest, a 5-star crafting item with it grants a piece of 658 item-level gear.
