How To Get “An Audience With The King” Map Fragment In POE 2

You can unlock the endgame phase in Path of Exile 2 (POE 2) after you complete the three acts in normal and cruel mode.

During these acts and the endgame, players need to complete the main and side quests and several bosses.

The King in the Mists is one of the bosses in the endgame phase, requiring you to use An Audience with the King map fragment.

An Audience With The King Map Fragment In POE 2

You can get An Audience with the King map fragment by doing rituals. This map fragment has a low drop rate and costs around 5000 Tributes.

Further, players need to defer the map fragment to lower its cost as each deferral slowly lowers the price.

This means you need to do dozens of rituals and defer any An Audience with the King you get before you can buy it at a reasonable price.

Once you have obtained An Audience with the King in POE 2, you can use it at the Realmgate to travel to Crux of Nothingness.

The King In The Mists Boss In POE 2

After entering the Crux of Nothingness area, head to the center to find the King In the Mists boss.

The boss has three phases including a phase where you get teleported to Maze. In the first phase, the Boss will primarily use melee attacks including Throngrip.

Furthermore, this boss fight becomes a lot easier if you use a Ranged build like the Explosive shot Deadeye.

Once the boss’s HP drops below a certain percentage, he will transport you to an area you must escape from.

You can interact with and follow the Wisps if you are having trouble navigating through the maze area.

After escaping the maze and returning to the arena, you will find that the boss has regained his health.

Finally, you can defeat the boss in this final phase, you need to dodge his moves and attack the boss.

You will get an Uncut Skill Gem, Emerald, Exalted Orb, Gold, and Book of Knowledge as a reward for defeating the boss.
