Players can obtain the Poseidon Rod in the Atlantis update after completing the Poseidon Trials in the game inside a temple.
Moreover, the trial requires players to complete tasks in the left and right rooms outside the large door holding the Poseidon Rod.
In the left room, players need to place a Great Hammerhead Shark on the left pedestal and an Icebeard Shark on the right pedestal. On the center pedestal, players must place a Whale Shark.
Similarly, in the next room, a Great White Shark goes on the left pedestal, and a Ginsu Shark on the right one.
In the same room, make sure to place an Ancient Megalodon on the center pedestal to unlock the large door.
Finally, after entering through the door, players can purchase the Poseidon Rod for 1,555,555 C$. Players can work with a team to obtain the rod if they don’t have all the required fish.

As the newly added rods in the game, Poseidon Rod is a Stage 7 Fishing Rod with enhanced overall stats.
Similarly, the weapon takes inspiration from the original Trident Rod in Fisch, with a slight upgrade to its visual.
The Poseidon Rod has upgraded the passive, which offers a 25% chance to direct reward to players with 75% of the fish’s base value in C$.
Additionally, while using the rod, there is a 5% chance of Poseidon’s Ghost spawn. This upgrade allows for the King’s Blessing mutation.
