Painting The White Bull In The Mice Side Quest
Northwest of Troskowitz, you’ll find the small town of Tachov, where you can meet an Innkeeper Prochek.
He will explain the feud between the two villagers and offer you the chance to help him and deal with the Zhelejovites.
If you’ve already completed the Frog side quest, simply apologize to the innkeeper and offer your help to begin the quest.
Prochek wants to paint Olbram’s prized white bull, and you’ll need to gather some dyes for it.
Additionally, you’ll need to brew a sleeping potion to tame the bull while painting it in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Brewing Sleeping Potion In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Meet Radovan, the local blacksmith, located just southwest of the inn in the town.
He will tell you the recipe for the Lullaby potion. Now, you’ll need to find an alchemy bench.
The alchemy bench is located in a small outbuilding within the apothecary’s garden, next to the Apothecary.
Visit the Apothecary and purchase the required ingredients: a few poppies, thistles, and herb paris.
Select the poppy, thistle, and herb paris, and place them on the shelf. Start by pouring oil into the cauldron.
Add the poppy to the oil and let it boil for one turn of the hourglass before lifting the cauldron off the fire.
Now, do the same with the thistle. Finally, take some herb paris, grind it in the mortar, and add it to the cauldron.
Once you’ve followed all the steps and prepared the potion, pour it into the phial on your left.
Getting Some Paint
Head to the tailor in Troskowitz, located in the center of the village, just behind the stocks.
Talk to him and ask about paint. He will initially offer black paint, which you can purchase.
However, if you explain why you need the paint, he will give it to you for free.
With the Lullaby potion and the black paint, head to Zhelejov in the evening to start the plan.
Once you reach the village, pour the Lullaby potion into the bull’s trough, being careful not to be seen.
Wait until the bull falls asleep at night, then sneak back into the barn and paint the bull.
There are three options for how you can paint the bull; choose any one of them.
Talk to the innkeeper, Prochek, to complete the quest and receive a reward of 85 Groschen.
