Anime Vanguards on Roblox announced its highly anticipated Update 3 on January 19, 2025, and players were in for exciting modifications in the game.
Moreover, the winter update brings 12 units, active codes, an expanded lobby, new game modes, leaderboard units, a World Lines leaderboard, and more in Anime Vanguards.
Additionally, the update included a secret unit, Subaru (Soburo), inspired by Natsuki Subaru of Re: Zero, and is available after reaching a specified level in the game.
Secret Unit Subaru In Anime Vanguards
Players can unlock the secret unit as a new support unit in Anime Vanguards after reaching Floor 50 or higher in the World Lines leaderboard.
Further, the secret unit drops after obtaining the Hidden Gateway portal in Anime Vanguards. Players can purchase the portal in the event area for 500 gems.
You can obtain the portal only once, and it drops Subaru after you clear its challenges. Moreover, the unit isn’t sellable and is an excellent addition to your defensive team.
Evolve Subaru’s Abilities In Anime Vanguards
The three passive abilities of Subaru are Charismatic Leader, Contracted Spirit, and Return To Zero.
His first passive, Charismatic Leader, allows Subaru to buff all allies in range by +10% damage and 8% range.
Contracted Spirit allows him to increase the range by 2% with each update.
Moreover, if an ally uses active ability, Subaru can buff its damage by 19% for 10 seconds.
Moreover, the unit’s most anticipated ability is Return To Zero, where Subaru can buff damage unit damage by 50%. However, you can activate the ability only once per copy.
As one of the supporting units, players can evolve Subaru to the maximum level with an increase in DMG, SPA, and RNG.
After reaching the max upgrade level, Subaru’s damage will double while his upgrades reset to level 1.
