Locate Spider Cave For Spider Gem In Rune Slayer
To begin your journey to obtain a Spider Gem, you’ll need to find the Spider Cave.
Thus, you may start in Wayshire, the central hub of the game, and head north and slightly northeast until you reach the Greatwood Forest.

As you navigate through the Greatwood Forest, keep an eye out for a Cobra and a bird enemy.
Moreover, if you continue east from the bird enemy, it will lead you directly to the Spider Cave, which is easily identifiable by the spider webs covering its entrance.
Defeat Spiders To Obtain Spider Gems
Once inside the Spider Cave, your goal is to defeat the spiders that reside within.
You must ensure your character is well-equipped and prepared for combat; be at least level 20 to handle the spiders effectively.

Further, you need to engage with the spiders and defeat them. Each spider has a chance to drop a Spider Gem upon defeat.
After defeating a spider, check the loot it drops. If you’re lucky, you’ll find a Spider Gem among the items.
Taming Spiders
To tame spiders, you’ll need Mandrake Roots, which you can find in the farming fields of Wayshire.
Initiate taming by hitting the spider once to aggro it. Further, you can pull out a Mandrake Root from your inventory.
A heart will appear above the spider’s head, indicating the start of the taming process.

If the heart turns red and grows fully, the taming is successful. If it turns black, the attempt has failed.
If the spider plops to the ground after the heart finishes growing, you have successfully tamed it. You can now use it as a pet or mount, depending on its type.
Nevertheless, to tame an Adult Spider, you need to unlock the Beast Tamer subclass.
