How To Unlock Writ: Path Of Ambition In Destiny 2

In Destiny 2, before completing the challenges of the Writ: Path of Ambition and claim its rewards, you must first unlock it.

As a result, you must progress through Act 2 of the main story campaign, locating a unique orb, and following your ambition by interacting with it, causing it to turn white.

Finally, interacting with the Shaping Slab will formally initiate your journey along the Path of Ambition, a reputation system distinct from the Path of Resolve.

“The Taken Path” Exotic Quest For Path of Ambition in Destiny 2

Once you unlock the Path of Ambition, you begin “The Taken Path” Exotic quest where you must find a hidden Blight in the activity known as The Nether. 

Now, enter The Nether and look for a secret Taken Blight. Then, approach the Blight to get pulled into it, then complete the puzzle within. 

After completing the puzzle, collect your first Taken Osseous Fragment, then return to the Shaping Slab in Eris’ quarters to receive “The Taken Path”.

Further, increase your reputation with the Shaping Slab to unlock tier 2 Runic Enhancements.

Then, participate in rounds of The Nether to earn reputation and Sigil Shards; purchase the Scotopic Rune for 150 Sigil Shards.

The K1 Revelation Lost Sector In Destiny 2 

You must head to the K1 Revelation Lost Sector in Sorrow’s Harbor and proceed until you find a Taken Energy bubble.

Then, you need to destroy the Blight above it to uncover another rune and plate puzzle. 

However, stand on the plate and observe the rune for a symbol, then step backward. 

This will reset the Lost Sector with Taken enemies; defeat them and collect the Taken Osseous Fragment dropped by the boss.

The Veles Labyrinth Lost Sector Puzzle

Now, you need to head to the Veles Labyrinth Lost Sector in the Forgotten Shore of the Cosmodrome.

Then, navigate the Thrall maze to find the next Taken Blight rune puzzle.

Hence, solve the puzzle by standing on the plate, observing the rune, and moving forward.

Further, teleport to the next puzzle, stand on the plate, observe the rune, and move left. For the final puzzle, step back.

Finally, reverse your route through the Thrall maze to defeat another powerful Taken enemy and claim your second Taken Osseous Fragment.

Breaking The Taken Curses

Return to the Whispering Slab in Eris’s apartment to receive three curse-breaking quests: the Curse of Endurance, the Curse of Urgency, and the Curse of Revenge.

Each curse requires specific actions in different locations, such as the Altars of Sorrow, the Hallowed Grove Lost Sector, and the “Nightmare Hunt: Pride” mission.

Osseous Fragment Collection in The Nether

With a private “explore” lobby to hunt for Taken Osseous Fragments; locate three Thrall statues across the Trenchway, Mausoleum, and main arena.

In the Trenchway, head towards the area where you’ll face the Tormentor, sticking to the left side of the inner area; a Thrall statue will be hidden in the shadows.

Then, descend into the blue tentacle trench within the Mausoleum, the Thrall statue is concealed behind a large tentacle on the left.

In the main arena where you fight the Subjugator, ascend the steps to the portal area beneath the Blight. 

Further, jump out to the left onto the platforms ahead to find a gate obscured by Taken Energy. The Thrall statue is to the left of this gate, on an adjacent platform.

Now, interact with each statue to “Call to Power,” spawning a Taken Wizard; defeat it, return to the Thrall statue and claim your Taken Osseous Fragment. 

Contrarily, With all three fragments collected, the Derealize Exotic mission becomes available.
