Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the latest installment of the CoD series and will be released on October 25th, 2024.
The upcoming first-person shooter game also features several new features, including Omnimovement and Prestige System.
With the Black Ops 6 date approaching, players have encountered the “lua menu/missing dlc local” error in multiple CoD games, including MW3 and MWZ.
Lua Menu/Missing Dlc Local Error In CoD
The LUA_MENU/MISSING_DLC_LOCAL error currently exists in multiple CoD games, including MW3 and MWZ.
In CoD, the missing menu error usually occurs when the game cannot access certain downloadable content (DLC) files.
Therefore, players must download the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer to solve this error, even if they don’t want to install such large files.
How To Install Black Ops 6 Multiplayer
To install Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, navigate to the new CoD launch screen with all the titles. Then, follow these steps:
- Open the options tab: Look for the three lines next to the Triangle on the PS5 controller
- Scroll tabs with L1: Navigate to the settings (gear icon page)
- Select MORE – Manage Files: Here, you can download B06 Multiplayer and Camping without paying
Once you have downloaded the BO6 Multiplayer, it will solve the LUA_MENU/MISSING_DLC_LOCAL error, allowing you to enjoy any CoD series, including MW3 or MWZ.
The Only Solution Seems A Bit Annoying
Installing BO6 multiplayer is the only solution that will help players solve the missing DLC issue in the menu.
The BO6 Multiplayer is 45.35 GB on PS5, which will take up unnecessary space even if the player doesn’t want it in their console.
Horrible!! Fix the game and learn how to implement updates that are not missing any files. Why must we redownload a game we already have that’s one. Why am I getting an error code LUA_NENU/MISSING_DLC_LOCAL. Good Job , glad I didn’t waste my $$ on BO6

Moreover, developers previously did the same thing with MW3; even if players don’t want MW3, they must install it to enjoy MW2.
Although players have no interest in BO6, developers manipulate them to download new unnecessary content to enjoy the existing one.
