- EA Sports has finally brought the ability to add tattoos to your player avatars in Madden NFL 25 Superstar Mode.
- Along with tattoos, there’s new hairstyles and facial hair options to further customize your characters in Madden 25.
- To add tattoos in your players, go to the Players Menu, then select the Appearance section. From there, navigate to Head & Skin and click on the last icon.
Madden NFL 25 is set to officially launch on August 16, 2024, with early access available from August 13.
This latest installment in the EA Sports Madden NFL series introduces several exciting new features, including BOOM Tech.
Additionally, developers have enhanced the physical appearance options for characters, adding new hairstyles and tattoos.
New Customization Options In Madden NFL 25: Tattoos And Hairstyles
Tattoos were not very common in the EA Sports franchise. Colin Kaepernick was the first player with tattoos in the Madden NFL series, debuting in the 15th installment.
Following that, Mike Evans, Odell Beckham Jr., Derek Carr, and Martavis Bryant had their tattoos included in Madden 19.

However, due to some legal copyright issues, Madden NFL did not allow players to customize tattoos on their characters.
Thankfully, with the release of Madden NFL 25 on the horizon, players will be able to customize their characters with tattoo designs.

Furthermore, in addition to these tattoos, EA Sports has also introduced some exciting customization features, including Expanded Facial Hair Options, New Hairstyles, and Facial Structures.
How To Get Tattoos In Madden NFL 25?
To get tattoos in Madden NFL 25, players must access the Superstar mode from their main game menu.
Once you enter the mode, you should head to the players’ section from the “Team and Players” menu and follow the steps;
- Select Appereance
- Click on Head & Skin
- Navigate to the final icon, which resembles a hand
- Purchase the tattoos you want to put on your character
Furthermore, under the appearance section, players will also be able to customize their character hairstyles and facial structure.
