HIGHLIGHTS
- Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2024 players who managed to download the game experienced a Login Queue issue, which seems to be caused by a high number of simultaneous logins.
- The issue seems to arise from the servers, so rather than waiting in the login queue, players can try to leave and rejoin the queue to overcome the issue.
- MSFS Team support is aware of the existing technical issue and is working on fixes, which will likely be available soon in the coming patch.
Asobo Studio released Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS 2024) globally on 19 November 2024 for Windows and Xbox Series X/S.
The multiplayer game features a more accurate flight model than its predecessor, with detailed simulations of aircraft systems, wake turbulence, and airflow.
Despite MSFS 2024 offering many improved features, players have encountered multiple issues with the game, including getting stuck on loading screens and facing a login queue.
Login Queue Issue In MSFS 2024
Since Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s recent release, the game has faced many technical issues, beginning with downloading and loading problems.
Following MSFS 2024, released on 19 November, the players started to face issues with the game stuck on downloading.
Players who somehow managed to download the game on their devices encountered a new issue, “Login Queue,” while trying to open the game.
It’s not unusual to encounter a login queue in a multiplayer game, but with MSFS 2024, it seems a bit more strange, as few players have been waiting in the queue for more than four hours.
Well done, @MSFSofficial: this is the worst game launch I’ve ever seen!#MSFS2024 is the ultimate “Queue Simulator”!

Currently, the only solution to the login queue issue is to wait in line or rejoin.
However, rejoining and waiting for long hours have not resolved the queue issue, so players need to be patient and wait for the developers’ response to this matter.
MSFS 2024 Team Response On “Login Queue”
The MSFS Team is aware of the technical issue with the game and has responded to this matter via the Twitter page.
Developers have asked players to be patient as they are working on possible fixes and will soon release a new patch.
Meanwhile, it has been more than 12 hours since the game’s release, and the developers have yet to provide an official fix, which is adding to players’ frustration.
We are continuing to work to resolve the server-related issues that have resulted in long loading times and service outages in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
