Elden Ring is releasing its most awaited expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, on June 21, 2024.
The DLC will feature numerous formidable bosses, new weapon types, and a new location: Land of Shadows.
With such high expectations from FromSoftware Inc., players also hoped for a better co-op experience in the Action RPG.
Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree Multiplayer
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has many features, exciting gameplay, and even greater graphics in the update.
Unfortunatley, FromSoftWare Inc. has not included one of the most demanded features: Seemless co-op experience.
This feature could have helped players invest even more game time on DLC and helped players to play cross-platform.
DLC Will Feature Similar Co-op Experience
The DLC will, in fact, share the co-op experience as the base game, which seems tricky to set up, unlike Baldur’s Gate 3.
You cannot simply invite over your friends through PC or consoles and complete the mission together.
Thankfully, there’s still a way to invite randoms or in-game friends to venture you defeat the bosses.
You and your friends should have the same platform, having the PS Plus subscription to connect to friends, as the game does not support crossplay.
Start Multiplayer In Elden Ring
You can start your co-op match by interacting with the Gold Summon Sign using the Furlculling Finger Remedy.
Players can then set the password under their multiplayer option and ask their friends to join the clan, but the feature has a huge issue.
Even if you complete the quest or die in the fight, the co-op session will marked as an end, meaning you should again invite over friends.
Once you leave the multiplayer mode, you may defeat the boss or complete the mission again, making the multiplayer experience more frustrating.
Thankfully, Nexus Mod’s Seamless Co-op Mod can help to tackle hurdles, including removing sessions, and has a feature to play with five other players.
