Overwatch 2 is a free-to-play first-person shooter video game launched in 2023.
On Thursday, Blizzard Entertainment announced a new collaboration with the manga My Hero Academia from October 17 to October 30.
The collaboration will allow players to play the roles of their favorite My Hero Academia characters, from heroes to villains.
Five New MHA Legendary Skins In The Collaboration
The collaboration between the manga series My Hero Academia and Overwatch 2 will last for a limited time, i.e., 13 days.
Players will get to dress up as some of the anime’s powerful characters with exclusive legendary skins.
Trace will dress up as Deku (Izuku Midoriya Tracer), Juno will turn into Uravity (Ochaco Uraraka Juno), and Reinhardt into All Might (All Might Reinhardt).
Similarly, on the villain side, Kiriko will get the skin of Himiko Toga (Himoko Toga Kiriko) and Reaper as the Tomura Shigaraki (Tomura Shigaraki Reaper), the leader of leagues of villains.
All the new skins will resemble the most recognizable outfit of the corresponding anime character.
However, slight modifications will denote the signature mark of in-game characters.
Further, you can gain all five legendary exclusive skins in ‘The Overwatch 2 x My Hero Academia Mega Bundle’.
Five Overwatch 2 sprays and a weapon charm are also set to be included in the collaboration.
Overwatch 2 MHA Character Skin In Season 13
The news of the collaborations was announced at the annual Tokyo Game Show. Before collaborating with My Hero Academia, Blizzard had tied up with the anime One Punch Man, and Cowboy Bebop.
The first anime collaboration with One Punch Man took place in March of 2023. The tie-up with Cowboy Bebop was announced in March 2024.
Overwatch 2 x My Hero Academia is set to launch two days after Season 13 begins. The Season 13 will last 8 weeks , starting on October 15.
In addition to the collaboration with My Hero Academia, Season 13 will add reworked maps, Halloween events, etc.
