The popular game mode just got a huge new expansion called The Lost Isles bringing in new and exciting elements for the players.
The v31.20 of the game is here, introducing a new region to venture with different biomes, the latest tools and weapons, enemies, and the arrival of Klombos.
New Biomes In The Lost Isles Update
With the new Lost Isles update, Fortnite has introduced new regions for players to discover and explore.
The game now features a separate island that players can access using Battle Bus Stations.
Players can explore new areas within their existing worlds—no need for players to create a new world to enjoy the update.
The island has a diverse ecosystem consisting of 5 new biomes. The 5 new biomes are as follows:
- Beach
- Plains
- Jungle
- Mountains
- Floating Islands
Each biome has its own unique set of items, treasures, and enemies for players to discover including different fruits for each biome that add different abilities.
Exploring The New Jungle Biome
The Lost Isles update releases the Jungle as one of the five new biomes in LEGO Fortnite. It is an area full of plants and animals.
Moreover, the biome features plants like Hop Flowers, which make you bounce, and Slurp Plants, which heal you.
The Jungle features Stink Flowers and explosive bombs that can harm you or help you fend off enemies.
Throughout the jungle, you may also find Tomatoes, a native fruit you can eat to restore some Health.
You can convert Tomatoes into Tomato Seeds at a Grain Mill, replant them, and grow them back.
Klombos In The New Jungle Biome
The fan-favorite dinosaur “Klombos” makes a return on the new Lost Isles update of Lego Fortnite.
In Lego Fortnite, Klombos can be found in the new jungle biome, as that is their natural habitat within the lagoons.
To make friend with Klombos in Lego Fortnite, you need to feed them their favorite food – Klomberries.
You can find Klomberries growing in the Plains biome in-game. Gather a bunch of them before you set to encounter the beast.
Feeding a single Klomberry will befriend the creature. Players can now ride and control Klombos.
While riding the Klombo players can dash, damaging entities in contact and also destroying any objects in its path.
