Fisch has just released a trailer for its highly anticipated Northern Expedition update, revealing new content to players.
Game developers confirmed that the new update will launch on December 21, 2024, at 8:00 AM ET.
The update will introduce a new play area featuring a massive multi-level mountain filled with new NPCs and content.
An update to the bestiaries, two new totes to unlock, and seven new rods to acquire will be included in the update.
A reply under the same tweet revealed that the new rods won’t be locked by levels. Instead, they can either be purchased or unlocked by completing certain puzzles.
Developer Releases Northern Expedition Floor Plan
In Fisch’s official Discord server, one of the developers released the initial floor plan for the Northern Expedition update.
Although the floorplan information may change, the mountain will be an integral part of the gameplay.
It features areas and content from the beginning to the endgame, increasing the difficulty as players ascend.
The peak of this massive mountain will feature an endgame rod, unlocked by completing the solo hard puzzle.
The update will also add two new totems: the Blizzard Weather Totem and the Avalanche Totem.
Each layer will have a different oxygen tank with varying capacities that you will need to purchase.
Unlock new areas and their corresponding content as you buy new oxygen tanks, allowing you to survive longer.
