After picking LAUGH, I tried the word TOUGH, where the word didn’t match, but two letters were from today’s word.

The letters T and O were yellow, which means the letters are not in the correct order but belong to the word.

After this, I thought of the word FROST, which includes both T and O in a different order than the previous.

In this attempt, the letter T was green, as it was in the correct place, but the letter O was still yellow.

Till here, I made 4 incorrect attempts, and I had 2 more attempts remaining. It was crucial to solve the puzzle in the next two attempts.

So, in the second last attempt, I tried the word OCTET, which was correct. After this, all the letters turned green, which meant the letters were placed in the right order.
