As we move into the new season, Once Human will introduce two additional scenarios: the September Scenario and the October Scenario.

September Scenario will focus on confrontations among factions. Players will engage in faction-based conflicts, where alliances and rivalries play a crucial role.

The objective is to navigate the political landscape, form strategic alliances, and dominate opposing factions.

However, the October scenario introduces a brand new map and challenges players to survive in extreme environments.

Players will face harsh weather conditions, scarce resources, and dangerous terrains.

The goal is to adapt to these extreme conditions, find ways to survive, and overcome the environmental challenges.

Long-Term Game Plan

The developers have a strong long-term plan for Once Human, which includes:

Limitless PvP Gameplay: Future scenarios will feature extensive PvP elements, providing continuous competitive gameplay.

Permanent Scenario: A regular scenario similar to the format used in games like Diablo. This scenario will run alongside the seasonal scenarios, offering a consistent gameplay experience.

Season Structure

Each scenario is set within the timeframe of a season, and divided into several phases. The duration of a season varies depending on the scenario.

After unlocking all content in a scenario, the server enters a Settlement Phase, lasting for about four weeks. During this phase, players can either:

• Sign up for a new scenario and start fresh.
• Stay on the same server until the Settlement Phase ends.

Survival Mechanics

Different scenarios introduce new survival mechanics to intensify the challenges. These can include:

Harsher Weather Conditions: Scenarios might feature extreme weather, such as blizzards, heatwaves, or storms, which players must survive.

Demanding Environments: Players might need to navigate through toxic wastelands, dense jungles, or other challenging terrains.

New Maps and Areas: Each scenario can bring new maps with unique layouts and features.

Enemy Types: Different scenarios can introduce new enemies with unique behaviors and abilities.

Retained And Reset Progress

When a scenario in Once Human ends, there will be no deletion of character, and you get to keep several important aspects.

These include your character details such as name, body size, and cosmetics, as well as house blueprints, furniture formulas, and actual furniture.

Your friends list, important materials like star chromes, christens, make marks, and silver keys, along with all progress made in battle pass and tasks, are also retained.

Additionally, weapon and armour blueprints, blueprint fragments, weapon accessories, mods, and food recipes are preserved.

However, certain aspects of your character are considered part of the scenario and will be reset, including your character’s level and mimetics, as well as items specific to the scenario you were playing.

Transitioning To New Scenarios

When entering a new scenario, you can bring multiple items with you, sticking to the scenario’s rules.

There is a point system in place, with each item requiring a different amount of points to take back into the main game.

This means you’ll need to plan carefully by considering the types of resources you bring along.

For early game resources, focus on items that will help you get a good start. Transition resources are crucial for moving smoothly from early to mid-game.

While late-game materials are plentiful, having some advanced parts early on can give you a significant advantage.
