There are two guards at the outpost, and you must interact with one of the guards, Divinso, to learn more about the spooky activities.
In the location, Divinso holds a photo with hidden ghosts that you must find to complete the challenge in Infinity Nikki.

The task is to find the creatures haunting Divinso through the spooky photo. Once you’ve interacted with the guard, he’ll give you a look at the photo.
Moreover, the photo features a dark castle with three little ghosts hiding in its various corners.
The first little ghost is behind the right wall of the castle, and another hides behind the trees.
Similarly, the final ghost peeks through the castle’s roof, and clicking on it completes the photo investigation task for Midnight Stories in Infinity Nikki.
After completing the investigation, another challenge unlocks in the Eerie Encounter adventure in the Tale of Mystery Event.
