HIGHLIGHTS
- A poem is a piece of writing in which feelings and ideas are expressed, but in today’s NYT Connections, it refers to “Thing with Feet.”, a purple group.
- “Novel” is another word you might group out along with Poem, but in today’s Connection, it falls under the “Groundbreaking” category with words like Different, New, and Original.
- Biped, Yardstick, and Furniture are other words that complete today’s purple category.
The NYT Connections game is in its second successful year after its release, and today is #514.
Following this milestone, Connections has successfully confused the players with multiple words, including Pipe Cleaner, Harvard, and A-F.
Biped, Yardstick, Poem, and Novel were a few words that were a bit tricky to group out in today’s Connection game.
Answers For Today’s NYT Connections (6 November)
If you closely analyze today’s words, you might easily get the first one right in a single attempt with words like Pause, Play, Record, and Stop.
After getting the first one, the “DVR Buttons” yellow category right, we instantly got the second one with words like Correspond, Message, Text, and Write.
The second group we got was categorized as” Communicate Through Writing,” which was the blue group for today’s game.
Now that we had only 8 words left, we thought it would be easy, but we were wrong; we did not find any similarities in the remaining words.
Poem Meaning In Today’s NYT Connections With Other Words
After analyzing the meaning of each word for a few minutes, we were still confused. So looking for a friend’s help, we got the third group.
Biped, Yardstick, Furniture, and Poem were the words our friend suggested to the group; we were confused by his suggestion.
The words Poem and Furniture seemed vastly different, and we couldn’t see any metaphor connecting them.
However, taking his suggestion, we grouped the word out and got the purple group “Things With Feet.”
Even after completing the game, the purple group puzzled us, but we eventually finished today’s Connection with these answers.
- DVR Buttons (Yellow): Pause, Play, Record, Stop
- Groundbreaking (Green): Different, New, Novel, Original
- Communicate Through Writing (Blue): Correspond, Message, Text, and Write
- Things With Feet (Purple): Biped, Yardstick, Furniture, Poem
