Pokémon GO, developed by Niantic, Inc., is an augmented reality mobile game in which players catch and collect Pokémon.
The developers have introduced a battle pass-style progression system called the Go Tour Pass.
However, numerous reports indicate that the GO Tour Pass is not working properly in Pokemon GO.
Pokemon Go Tour Pass Tiers And Rewards
The Pokemon GO Tour Pass is a limited-time progression system introduced for the Pokemon GO Tour: Unova – Global event.
Players can earn Tour Points by completing in-game activities to unlock rewards.
Earn points by completing special event tasks, which refresh daily from February 24 to February 28.
During the event weekend, tasks will refresh hourly from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

As Trainers accumulate Tour Points, they advance through tiers that include both Minor and Major Milestones.
Players can purchase the Tour Pass Deluxe to receive additional rewards and encounter the mythical Pokemon Victini.
Additionally, a new item called the Lucky Trinket can be obtained upon reaching the final Major Milestone.

The Lucky Trinket is a single-use item that lets Trainers designate a friend as a Lucky Friend.
Tour Pass Not Working For Players In Pokemon GO
Many players have encountered an issue where they can rank up only five tiers per day.
Despite completing numerous event tasks and accumulating a large number of Tour Points, players remain stuck at tier 5.
However, this is not a bug but an intentional restriction, limiting players to unlocking only five tiers per day.
The issue arose because the developers failed to inform players about the restrictions in advance.
Since then, the developers have used their social media platforms to inform players about the capped points.
Furthermore, they announced that the Pass Point limits will be removed during the GO Tour Global weekend.

Players are disappointed by this decision, claiming that it will be impossible to complete the entire battle pass.
This is especially concerning as the Tour Pass consists of 250 levels, each offering rewards that players don’t want to miss out on.
