Rice Cocoons Quest In Black Myth: Wukong
To start the “Rice Cocoons” quest in Black Myth: Wukong Chapter 3, you must unlock its secret location.
Players can unlock the secret location by defeating Chen Loong’s boss on the Northern Shore of the Bitter Lake and then helping him with Xu Dog’s Resurrection Pill.
Once you help the boss, he will give you the Ruyi Scroll, which unlocks the secret location.
At the secret location, you can interact with “The Verdure Bridge” Shrine to travel quickly to “The Webbed Hollow.”
Once you are at the location, follow the path next to the shrine, cross the wooden plank bridge, and continue along the path marked by lanterns.
As you progress, you will reach the area full of spider webs leading your way to the boss, Elder Amourworm.
Get Proto Amourworm From The Boss
To get the Proto Amourworm, you should defeat the Elder Amourworm from Webbing Hollow.
The Elder Amourworm can spray venom from its tail, creating poisonous pools on the ground. Therefore, you can use the Immobilize spell to freeze the boss and make your attack.
Once you defeat the boss and receive the Proto-Amourworm, you should head toward the Zodiac Village and deliver it to Chen Loong.
Destroy The Cocoons To Get Rice Cocoons
Progressing further with the questline, you should head to the Webbed Hollow: The Verdure Bridge and destroy the cocoon to get 3 Rice Cocoons.
Once you collect all 3 Rice Cocoons, you return to the Zodiac Village and feed the Rice Cocoons to the worm.
Once you feed the worm, Rest at the Zodiac Village – Village Entrance and repeat this feeding and resting process until you get the Elder Amourworm Spirit.
Furthermore, the Elder Amourworm Spirit you receive can used to transform into a giant worm and spray venom on enemies during battle.
