The Burden Of Family Quest In Diablo 4
The quest unfolds at The Tree of Whispers, where you begin by interacting with Gelena to initiate it.
She instructs you to step into the Ritual Circle to perform a ritual alongside Caidin and Ouna.
Light the three cauldrons inside the circle by interacting with them in the correct sequence.
Light the cauldrons in the following order: Ayh, Yew, and Oun. This sequence represents the old tree’s name.
Now, start the ritual by walking along the pentagram, tracing it from one point to another to complete the connection.
The three characters chant sequentially, while enemies spawn to interrupt them. Defeat the enemies to protect the ritual.
Defeat The Wicked Fugitive Head
When Ouna’s turn comes, she summons a horde of enemies along with a Wicked Fugitive Head and runs away.
Overcome the spawned enemies with Gelena’s help while Caidin chases after Ouna.
After defeating all the enemies, leave the ritual circle and search for Caidin. He will be at The Swamp of the Vanquished Soul.
There, you will find Caidin and Gelena. Interact with her to exchange dialogue and complete the quest.
Completing the Burden of Family side quest in Diablo 4 rewards players with 7,400 gold and 508,300 experience points.
