In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, players encounter a side quest titled “Unhealthy Competition“, which highlights the cutthroat nature of life in the Zone.
This quest is initiated by Sidorovich, a character who tasks the player with dealing with a rival stalker named Wisp.
The quest takes place in various locations within the Zone, emphasizing the game’s expansive and dangerous environment.
Stalker 2 Unhealthy Competition
Wisp has been undermining Sidorovich by securing supplies without his consent, prompting a need for retribution.
The primary goal of the quest is to eliminate Wisp and any accomplices he may have.
However, Sidorovich offers a monetary reward for this task, reflecting the brutal realities of survival in the Zone where betrayal and violence are commonplace.
Players must approach the quest strategically, deciding whether to confront Wisp directly or to gather more information first.
Receive The Quest
Players need to speak with Sidorovich at his base. He will inform you about the problem with Wisp, who is competing unfairly and disrupting trade.
Further, they need to head to the designated area on their map where Wisp is located.
However, they must travel through hazardous zones filled with mutants and hostile stalkers.
Before engaging, ensure you have adequate supplies, including weapons, ammunition, medkits, and food to manage hunger and health.
Engage Wisp
Players can choose to confront Wisp directly or employ stealth tactics. If they opt for stealth, consider sneaking up on him to initiate a surprise attack.
Significantly, they must be aware of Wisp’s guards; they may intervene during your confrontation.
After defeating Wisp, they will face a choice: Eliminate Wisp or Spare Wisp.
If they wish to eliminate him, it will satisfy Sidorovich but could have consequences on players’ reputation with other factions or traders.
However, if they wish to Spare Wisp, players might be able to negotiate or learn valuable information that could aid later in the game.
Return To Sidorovich
Regardless of the choice, players must return to Sidorovich to report the outcome of their encounter with Wisp.
If they eliminated him, Sidorovich will reward you and may offer additional quests or trade opportunities.
Nevertheless, if killed Wisp, players can expect some immediate benefits like rewards or loot but be mindful of potential retaliation from his allies or other factions in the Zone.
However, if they spared him, he might provide future assistance or quests that could benefit you.
