Make A Duplicate Of The Gear To Unlock Trait
The duplicate of the gear is the most common way newcomers unlock the Traits.
You can duplicate the gear by interacting with the Crafters in the game. So, you will need one to upgrade and the other for crafting.
Use Trait Conversion Stone In Throne And Liberty
Another way to upgrade the Trait is to use the Trait Conversion Stone. The Conversion Stone replaces the existing Trait.
You can obtain the Conversion Stone from the drop in Secret Dungeons, Mystic Globes, Mystic Portals, and Dynamic Events.
Further, you can exchange the goods with the Guild Merchants or buy them from the Battle Pass Zenus’s Star Shop.
You will not need an extra piece of identical gear to upgrade the Trait.
Buy Trait Extracts From The Auction House In Throne And Liberty
The Trait Extracts are available in the Auction House if there is any Trait available of your choice.
You must keep on checking the Auction House from time to time to avoid anyone else buying it before you.
The Auction House can be unlocked only after level 40, so make sure to reach the target level.
Exchange Trait Unlock Stone To Unlock Trait
Those who have the Epic rarity gear can use the Trait unlock stones. The stones can be earned through Battle Pass, Codex Missions, and Standard Looting.
You will need 50 Trait Unlock Stones to unlock the Locked Traits. You can select the skill of your choice.
