Select Oilfield And Setup Tools To Extract the Fuel From Crude Oil
Barreled crude oil is the mixed fuel in Once Human, which can be converted into usable fuel using different mechanisms.
Players can extract crude oils from the oilfield area; these areas are generally the red sands located around the deserts.
Water pumps, Fuel refiners, and Generators are the technologies that you will need during the oil extraction process.
To unlock Water Pumps, players visit the Logistics section of the Memetics menu and use 5 Ciphers and 700 Energy Links.
Likewise, for the Fuel refinery, you need to shift to the infrastructure section and move toward its second tier.
Lastly, you can use any generator from your inventory, but the Biomass Generator is the most preferable one.
Extract Barreled Crude Oil From The Oilfield
Once you have unlocked all the necessary technologies, you can start your crude oil extracting process using the steps mentioned below;
- Select a suitable oilfield.
- Place a Water Pump in the area.
- Connect it to the Generator (Press X Key for both).
- Wait until the wire gets connected.
Once the wire is connected, you will see the Water Output process on your screen. Wait until it is complete.
After a few minutes, you will receive the Barreled Crude Oil, which you need to refine to make it usable.
Furthermore, you must build the Refining Facilities you have unlocked to refine the obtained oil. You can do this through the Facilities section in your menu.
Once you have placed the Refining Facilities, you need to connect it to the generator and start refining the oil you have obtained.
Furthermore, fully refined barreled crude oil can be used as a fuel for your Vehicles.
