Dunkey’s Video Suggests Throne And Liberty Should Be Re-named As Fivespoken – Amazon’s AAAA MMO
Amazon game’s “Throne and Liberty” has been roasted by several gamers, who have gotten a lot of hate from the gaming community even before playing the game.
A YouTuber, videogamedunkey, known as Jason Gastrow Or Dunkey, recently posted a funny but brutal review of the game, who is also known to blend humor and critisism.
From the get-go, Dunky was skeptical of the game’s design, joking it felt like a pay-to-win game. “This is going to be trash” he said, mocking the early setup process where you have to agree to a code of conduct before you even get into the game.
Despite the rough start, Jason decided to give the game a chance and adjusted the settings to get the “epic graphics” Amazon promised.
As he played the game he jumped into the crazy story and the battle between characters with lasers.
Throne And Liberty In Comparison To Forspoken
Dunkey jokingly compared it to other games like Forspoken and The Last of Us and pointed out the ridiculousness of some moments.
One of the funniest moments was when the game asked for biometric data through uploaded photos to customize character appearances.
The gamer hated this feature as the buttons wouldn’t work and he sarcastically said “oh this is a good game.”
The real fun started when Jason got into the game world but he was quick to point out the flaws. Combat was compared to World of Warcraft but with much less excitement.
“It feels kind of pointless,” Dunkey said as he encountered an enemy whose attacks barely did any damage. He joked about going “Super Saiyan” during an intense moment and then won easily.
Despite the rough experience, Jason did find some good in Throne and Liberty. He admitted that the graphics are better than the Will Smith game, acknowledging the game looked good.
Visuals And Bot Issues In Throne And Liberty
As Dunkey continued to play, he kept running into bots, a common problem in free-to-play games. Amazon Game Studios has a history of bot problems in their previous games so that just added to his frustration.
But as the gamer went through various quests including repairing items and navigating towns he couldn’t help but notice the game would throw ridiculous obstacles in his way which added to the comedic tone of the review.
In the end he decided to stop playing after server issues and repetitive tasks like collecting hearts from creatures.
At last, Dunkey concluded the video saying the game looked good and had some funny moments but was far from what people expected from an Amazon game.
