HIGHLIGHTS
- Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 doesn’t currently support the Ultrawide screen.
- Players can get Ultrawide support in one of the initial patches on September 2024, along with a new lobby and Arena.
- Focus Entertainment will likely release a hotfix for crashes, black screen, and multiplayer mode issues before the planned Q3 update.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, probably one of the awaited games of 2024, is finally available for early access premium edition users.
Unfortunately, Space Marine 2 didn’t meet numerous players’ expectations, given the number of issues, bugs, and lack of basic features.
Focus Entertainment’s game users are facing problems, including Black Screens, Crashes, and Multiplayer, and they are even unable to play conveniently on ultrawide monitors.
Space Marine 2 Ultrawide Issue To Fix On September Patch
Space Marine 2 is out with tons of customization options, co-op campaigns, six classes, and other exclusive features.
However, it has come with a cost for Ultrawide Monitor users, as the game is yet to support their system.
Being in 2024, the game not supporting the Ultrawide screen leaves a negative impact on those who spent more cash on buying Gold, Ultra Pack, and Collector’s editions.
Players in early access with Ultrawide screens are getting dark borders on the side, leaving them frustrated.
Ultrawide Support May Take A While
Space Marine 2’s previous leak suggested players would receive support, but there was no sign of it after the initial release.
Thankfully, Focus Entertainment is currently working to bring in the Ultrawide Support.
The developers have yet to confirm the official release date for the Fix but will release a small patch along with Private PvE lobbies and Battle Barge Starring Arena.
With players facing a huge number of issues, the developers may opt for a more linear approach and release a hotfix for major issues initially.
As the Ultrawide support is officially planned, players may have to wait patiently until the end of September, but we can expect the patch to launch after the Fortnight.
So, if you are yet to get any edition of Space Marine 2 having the Ultrawide Monitor, the best option is to wait for the official release.
