Complete the Veils Off in Sun or Shadow quest in Wuthering Waves to unlock What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing.

Follow the quest marker until you reach a spiked wall, then find a way to open the gate to get out of the mist.

You can find two corroders near the spiked wall. Interact with them and walk up to the glowing spikes to destroy them.

Be careful, as walking up to the corroder on the right will spawn four Tacet Discords. Defeat them to progress.

Investigate The Golden Phantom

After crossing the spiked wall and swimming through the water, you’ll find footprints highlighted in gold.

Follow these footprints until the Golden Phantom appears, and you’ll realize that the Golden Phantom is actually a reverberation.

After the cutscene, head straight toward the distant shipwreck you saw. A cutscene will play as you approach the ship.

As the cutscene ends, three Tacet Discords will appear in front of you. Defeat them and move forward to find Brant.

Grapple onto the nearby Wingray to reach the Dragon of Dirge’s Territory. Once landed, follow the upward path to the Sacrificial Arena.

Defeating Dragon of Dirge: Gehinnom

Upon entering the Sacrificial Arena, you’ll face a boss fight against the Dragon of Dirge: Gehinnom, defeat him to progress.

After the boss fight, meet up with the Troupe. Use the nearby Wingray to glide there.

Rescuing Bardolino, The Troupe Member

After landing, head to the quest marker to trigger a cutscene. Afterward, you’ll need to find the Troupe member, Bardolino.

Follow the wooden-planked trail, which will lead you straight to Bardolino. Getting close to him will activate a cutscene.

You need to collect three Cloudcaster components scattered around the carnival. Quest markers will guide you to them.

Speak with Troupe members Battier, Tina, and Levito to receive three different components.

Once you collect the components, Roccia will automatically combine them to create a full Cloudcaster.

Shoot down all three groups of balloons attached to Bardolino to rescue him, landing him on the cloud you just created.

After a short cutscene introducing Charlotta, board the linear and prepare for the rehearsal.

Find Zani And Phoebe At The Carnevale

Meet Carlotta by the fountain steps in Ragunna City and follow her to the Masked Reverie to talk to Nyarla and receive a Carnevale mask.

Move toward the quest marker and speak with the concierge to check into the Palazzo Agrotta Hotel.

On the next day, the day of the Carnevale, locate Zani and Phoebe. Zani will be right beside the bar.

Afterward, turn left and approach Phoebe to speak with her. When asked, take a picture of Phoebe with the echoes.

After taking the picture, interact with both marked echoes. Doing so will trigger a long cinematic cutscene.

Follow Phrolova Into Lycoris

Go to Phrolova’s location and follow her until she reaches the end of the hallway, where she will vanish, leaving behind a Lycoris.

Defeat the enemy summoned by Phrolova, then grapple to the platform above to proceed to the next stage.

On each platform, defeat the different echoes to progress to the next one until you have defeated all the enemies.

After the lengthy cutscene, access the space created by Phrolova by speaking with Carlotta.

Defeat The Hecate: Limbo Rondo

Enter the space created by Phrolova to initiate a boss battle with Hecate: Limbo Rondo.

Hecate: Limbo Rondo is a multi-phased boss battle where the boss regains full health after each phase.

After defeating the boss, cross the platform to find the mysterious girl. Speak with her, then examine the traces she left near Carlotta.

Enter The Cathedral of Mercury

Follow the quest marker to reach the safe house, then proceed to the Cathedral of Mercury.

Head inside the cathedral to complete the “What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing” quest in Wuthering Waves.
