Version 2.0 of Wuthering Waves introduces a new Chapter of the main questline. This chapter has three acts and a prologue.
This update also adds a lot of events, new resonators, resonator outfits, and several new weapons.
In Chapter II Act III “What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing”, a cutscene introduces a new mysterious character.
New Mysterious Character In Wuthering Waves
Once you defeat Phrolova during “What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing”, the Sentinel of Ragunna city speaks to you.
The Sentinel tells you to seek The Lost who is wandering amongst the people of Ragunna. At the end of this scene, you can see a new character walking.
You then need to follow her where you find her dancing on top of the water.
She further talks about the Rover’s performance in the Carnevale and explains she is here for the Carvenale too.
Furthermore, she asks you to show her the final steps from your curtain call. As you begin the final steps, you notice her Tacet Mark glowing.
The mysterious character leaves after Carlotta arrives, and you ask for her name before she leaves.
She first hesitates to give her name but finally introduces herself as Cartethyia.
Cartethyia In Wuthering Waves
Many players believe Cartethyia might connect to the Imperator Sentinel of Ragunna city in the Rinascita region in Wuthering Waves.
Some even think she could be the Magistrate equivalent in this area, although she may go by another title.
Her introduction hints at a deeper story and new adventures for players to explore.
Finally, early hints such as her Tacet Mark suggest that she might be a playable 5-star resonator.
Players are eager to uncover the mysteries of Rinascita and find out how Cartethyia will fit into the story as it unfolds.
