HIGHLIGHTS
- The Undersea is a new area in World of Warcraft (WoW) latest expansion, The War Within, and is part of the subterranean Hallowfall zone in Khaz Algar.
- It is one of the sea locations that form the northern and western extents of Hallowfall, bordering regions such as Bleak Sand, Faded Shore, Velhan’s Claim, and Morgaen’s Tears.
- Players must unlock the Skyriding feature of the expansion and reach the Hallowfall region to access this new sea area in WoW.
World of Warcraft is currently in its pre-expansion phase for The War Within, which began on July 26 and will continue until August 26.
This new pre-expansion phase has introduced many new features, including Warbands, Skyriding, and Visions of Azeroth.
In this expansion, players will also find new locations and quests to explore, such as the Gryphons Of A Feather quest and the new location Undersea in the Hallowfall region.
Subregion Of Hallowfall In World Of Warcraft: The War Within
Hallowfall is a new subterranean zone in World of Warcraft’s expansion, The War Within. Located in Khaz Algar.
This newly added zone lies below and west of the Ringing Deeps and north of Azj-Kahet.

Hallowfall features verdant plateaus and river canyons, all inspired by the massive crystal Beledar, which provides light and warmth.
Players can explore multiple subregions of the newly added zone, some of which are mentioned below;
- The Aegis Wall
- The Basin
- Beledar’s Bounty
- Bleak Sand
- Cliffside Beacon
- Undersea
- Light’s Redoubt
- The Hungering Pool
These subregions offer a variety of environments and challenges for players to explore and conquer.
Undersea: Subregion Within Hallowfall Zone In WoW
The Undersea is a notable subregion within the Hallowfall zone in World of Warcraft’s expansion, The War Within.
This subregion is the underground sea that forms the northern and western extents of Hallowfall, bordering regions such as Bleak Sand, Faded Shore, Velhan’s Claim, and Morgaen’s Tears.
To access this new area, you need to unlock the Skyriding feature, reach Hallowfall, and explore the storyline of the Zone.
Undersea drains through unnamed rivers into the Hungering Pool at the center of the Hallowfall zone.
