Begin The Mission
Players begin the mission in a sandstorm-ravaged area where the visibility will be low, so stay alert for enemies.
Significantly, players need to move forward towards the designated area marked on their HUD.
As you encounter Tyranid enemies, utilize cover effectively as part of your combat strategy.
Thus, use ranged weapons to take down enemies from a distance, especially in the sandstorm where visibility is limited.
Secure The Nova Cannon Warhead
After successfully clearing the area of enemies, you will come across the Nova Cannon Warhead, a critical objective for your mission.
This powerful weapon is essential for your next strategic move against the Tyranid forces.
As you approach the Warhead, take a moment to survey your surroundings and ensure that the area is secure before interacting with it.
Once you initiate the interaction to secure the Warhead, be aware that this action will trigger a wave of enemies to spawn, intent on reclaiming the weapon for themselves.
Defend The Warhead
After securing the Nova Cannon Warhead, you will need to hold off waves of Tyranid attackers while protecting the valuable asset.
Maintain mobility to avoid being flanked by the relentless Tyranid forces. Stay alert, adapt your strategy, and eliminate any enemy that dares to approach the Warhead.
Deploy The Warhead
Once the area is clear of enemies, your next objective is to proceed to the rail system indicated on your HUD.
This is the critical moment where you will deploy the Nova Cannon Warhead.
As you make your way to the deploy point, be sure to interact with the rail system to initiate the deployment process.
Collect Dataslates
Dataslate 1: After deploying the Warhead, head to the right side of the area. Look for the first Dataslate near a wall.
Dataslate 2: Continue along the path until you reach the destroyed train tracks. The second Dataslate is located beside a pillar.
Completing the Ballistic Engine mission grants players a Discoverable Armoury Data and 945 XP.
In addition to the significant XP boost, players will also receive 55 resources, which can be used to enhance their character’s abilities or acquire new equipment.
