After reaching level 15, you can start the Spiritborn Spirit Hall quest by meeting Tarka in Gea Kul.

Tarka informs you that foragers have been killed on the Central Plateau possibly starting the Sacred Hunt.

You now have to go to Hakan’s Oasis where you find Ito but discover Tarka is missing.

To enter the fading Spirit Portal, you must defeat Spirit Eagles, as lingering spirits assist in opening it.

A few seconds later, Tarka explains that he can’t physically continue but assures you he won’t abandon you.

His spirit then departs his body, and soon after, the way forward becomes visible.

Confront The Beast

Tarka’s spirit then assists you in progressing further, where you first confront The Beast, who initially flees.

You follow its trail, battling small spirits, and survive an ambush at the Terrace of the First before the way is blocked again.

Speaking to Astral Tarka, you will need to Give Thanks near another brazier, which clears the path.

Finally, you confront The Beast at full strength in the Temple of Spirits.
