The First Descendant has recently released its new update, “1.2.4,” introducing new content and exciting events.

The 1.2.4 update in The First Descendant also includes various fixes and enhancements, such as skill updates and a resolution for Valby’s Tidal Wave issue.

Although the new update was intended to fix bugs, it unfortunately introduced a new crashing issue for PS5 users.

The First Descendant Update 1.2.4

On January 16, 2024, The First Descendant released its new update after a long pause, introducing the New Year Event With new characters.

Crashing Issue In The First Descendant On PS5

To access the new content, you need to download the latest update and restart the game once the update is installed.

Unfortunately, players are unable to enjoy the new content after the update, as the game continuously crashes.

The crashing issue mostly exists for PS5 users and for a few P5S Pro users, making it quite frustrating to not be able to enjoy the new content.

Due to the existing issues, players cannot even load into Albion, the bustling main hub of the game.

Moreover, along with the crashing issue, players also encounter the CE-108255-1 error after the latest update.

Although the latest update aimed to fix existing bugs, it introduced a new crashing issue.

Minor issues like resetting caches and restarting the game do not seem to work, so the player might need to wait for the devs to introduce the new patch.

In the meantime, players can try exploring the new content in the PS4 Version (if available), as the game seems to work fine.
