Answers For Today’s NYT Connections With Words Meaning (January 28, 2025)

Analyzing today’s NYT Connections words, the first four that popped up in my mind were Card, Character, Joker, and Laugh, as each seemed to relate to something funny.

Moving ahead with the remaining words, I collected words like Dumbbell, Mat, and Bench, while I was confused with the remaining words.

I thought the second title was somehow related to Gym, so I randomly picked Snicker (I don’t know why) and lost one life.

What could be the other word?

So, after carefully analyzing the words, I opted to go for Band and got the green group “Resistance Training Equipment.”

Mar And Mound Meaning In NYT Connections #597

With only 8 words remaining, I quickly analyzed them and picked words like Mar, Mound, Snicker, and Airhead. The collected words were candies bars without “S” at the end.

Mar basically means impairing the quality or appearance of or spoiling.

However, in today’s Connections game, Mar refers to Mars Bar, a name for two varieties of chocolate bars produced by Mars Inc.

Likewise, Mound referred to Mounds, a candy bar made by the Hershey Company, consisting of shredded, sweetened coconut coated in dark chocolate.
