Adopt Me is an interactive game where players can adopt and care for a variety of virtual pets through hatching eggs.
Further, players can use pets, along with their abilities and equipment, to explore different locations in the game.
Similarly, to upgrade the pets and unlock rare ones, players require Shooting Stars and Special Star, which are one of the major aspects of the Adopt Me Lunar New Year update.
Special Star Location In Adopt Me (Day 20)
With each day’s tasks, the location of the Special Star changes in Adopt Me as it is a mandatory item necessary to hatch the Royal Moon Egg.
Moreover, the Royal Moon Egg holds 8 new extraterrestrial pets for grabs with exclusive abilities along with their equipment.
The Special Star has 6 sides, unlike the regular shooting star. The stars can spawn anywhere on the Adoption Island or the Moon.
Players require at least 5 Special Star to obtain and hatch the Royal Moon Egg in the Lunar New Year event in Adopt Me.
After gearing up for the adventure, players can find the Special Star for Adopt Me Day 20 on top of a rock near the beach.
To reach the location, players can use a flying pet or other equipment in the game, including a Propeller or a Grappler.
Shooting Star Locations In Adopt Me Lunar New Year Event
Besides the Special Stars, players must collect 50 Shooting Stars available at different locations on Adoption Island and the Moon.
Similar to the Special Stars, the location of the regular stars also changes daily. So, players must search every corner of the map.
Further, areas like the Playground, Shops, Beach, and Waterfall always hold the most numbers of the Shooting Stars.

Players can collect the remaining 20 Shooting Stars from the Moon’s surface. Using a space shuttle, they need to launch themselves and their pets into outer space.
Similarly, after collecting the Shooting Star, players can exchange it at the Lunar New Year vending machine. The machine provides new pets, pet wear, and toys in Adopt Me.
Moreover, there is only a day left to collect the Special Stars as the event expires on February 14, 2025. However, the Shooting Stars can still be used after the event.
