In Infinity Nikki 1.5, Chapter 2 of the Serenity Island’s exclusive quest is called “Thunder Rumbles Through the Mist.”
You can only start this quest after finishing another quest named “Contamination, Yet A Trace.” This quest takes place in a cave-like, mysterious area.
Once it is unlocked, you need to go to a cavern. When you reach the cavern, you start looking for signs of contamination.

While going deeper inside the cavern, you will see a character named Puppy Pieceу. Follow them as they move into the cavern.
After that, you will find a way forward. Keep going until you reach the source of the contamination.
You must purify it. When that is done, you will be taken to a strange place where a big boss called Thing In The Mist is waiting.
Fighting The Boss Thing In The Mist
This boss fight has two parts. In the first part, the boss throws small enemies called Esselings at you.
It also attacks you from far away. The boss uses different types of attacks like slashes, flying projectiles, spinning tornadoes, and round orbs.
You must keep dodging the attacks and defeat all the enemies around you. After some time, the boss changes and becomes corrupted. This starts the second part of the fight.
Before the second part begins, make sure you are wearing the Floral Gliding outfit. This outfit is very important.
The boss now flies high in the sky, and you must glide to reach it. Once you are right above the boss, dive down to attack it.
You have to do this three times. But the boss becomes more dangerous, so it won’t be easy. The best time to attack is right after the boss stops using its attacks.
After winning the battle, you will get Gentle Guidance, a five-star handheld accessory. To craft it, collect:
- Unyielding Leather ×5
- Bedrock Crystal: Energy ×20
- Delusional Button ×30
- Melancholy Beads ×8
- Thread of Purity ×180
That’s how you clear the mist and earn a rare reward.
