Many players, after starting Chapter 4, want to learn about the effects of their past actions and the changes made in the game.
Weird Route In Deltarune Chapter 4
The “Weird Route” is the alternate name for the “Snowgrave Route” introduced in Chapter 2 of the Deltarune game.
This path requires the player to guide Noelle to rely on ice magic to defeat the opponents.
Further, it finishes with a venture from the usual peace-filled or neutral storylines.
There is not a true “Weird Route” in Deltarune Chapter 4 like the one in Chapter 2.
Nonetheless, you will see some material and differences in Chapter 4 because the Weird Route in Chapter 2 affected the game.
If you want to play these, your save must show that you completed the Weird Route throughout Chapters 2-4.
Complete The Weird Route In Chapter 2
The second part of Deltarune reveals that there is a hidden, mysterious route called the Weird Route or Snowgrave Route.
You need to make Noelle use her IceShock spell often, which will drive her to act more dangerously.
In this way, you have to fight certain enemies uniquely and decide on choices in dialogue.
Further, it causes the “Snowgrave” ending, which is a lot more disturbing than the usual route.
Carry That Save File Through Chapter 3
After you have finished Chapter 2 on the Weird Route, leave your save file as it is.
Go through Chapter 3 by loading from the same save you made before. Do Chapter 3 in the usual way; there is no separate or alternate route for it.
The main thing is that your save recalls your progress through Chapter 2 on the Weird Route.
Begin Chapter 4 From The Save File
To continue at the right point for Chapter 4, use the same save file you used in the previous chapters.
After you progress further, Chapter 4 will update certain sequences, collectibles and spoken lines to indicate the effects of Weird Route.
Mostly, the changes appear in the first two areas. However, some aspects of the game’s tale and the way characters connect differ a lot from what you’ll experience as usual.
