Ramb is a minor character in Deltarune Chapter 3, but he plays an important role. He is based on a power strip from Kris’s living room.
Although he resembles the Plugboy NPCs from Chapter 2, Ramb sports a bluish-purple color, downward-curving ears, and bright orange overalls.
While Ramb does not appear much, his connection to Kris and his role in the Sword Route make him stand out in Chapter 3.
Ramb In Deltarune Chapter 3
Players first meet Ramb in the Pre-show area. He talks to Kris like an old friend and tells them to visit him in the Green Room.
In the Green Room, Ramb runs a small bar at the top. After every board game round, he gives the party a reward based on their performance.
The reward that he gives to the party is listed below.
- T-rank: White Ribbon (Board 1), Pink Ribbon (Board)
- S-rank: White Ribbon (Board 1), Pink Ribbon (Board)
- A-rank: Revive Mint
- B-rank: Revive Mint
- C-rank: TV Dinner
- Z-rank: No Reward
Furthermore, since Tenna does not let him handle POINTs, he tells Kris to buy items from the vending machine instead.
Ramb And The Secret Sword Route
If you and your team manage to obtain an S-rank, Ramb will appear in a special changing room and allow Kris to enter a hidden backstage area.
In this area, players can replay Tenna’s game in its original form. This leads to the secret Sword Route, which is a darker path in the game.
If players do not choose the Sword Route, Ramb turns into a stone statue after the fight with Rouxls Kaard.
However, he will still be standing behind the bar, and if you interact with his statue, a Pippin shows up.
He will then explain that Ramb always tried to help Kris, even if it meant going against the other characters.
If the player does follow the Sword Route, Ramb turns into a stone statue during the game.
At the end, he cannot move anymore and asks Kris to push him out of the way so they can finish. This shows how loyal Ramb is and how much he is willing to sacrifice for Kris.
Finally, even though Ramb is not a main character, he adds depth to the story.
