HIGHLIGHTS
- In Dune: Awakening a buggy, equipped with a Cutter Ray allows you to collect over 10,000 ore and materials in just 7 minutes.
- To build the buggy, you must first research Steel in the technology tree, then gather key parts and materials.
- Store your buggy indoors to protect it from sandstorm damage, and ensure ample water storage for crafting and vehicle maintenance.
The buggy in Dune: Awakening is not just a vehicle; it’s your ticket to explosive resource growth and efficient progression.
It’s the backbone of your resource empire; with the right upgrades and a smart mining route, you’ll outpace other players and set yourself up for rapid progression.
However, the Ornithopter is a luxury for travel, but the buggy is your workhorse for wealth.
Mining Buggy In Dune: Awakening
Before you even consider the Ornithopter, the buggy should be your top priority for resource gathering.
With the buggy and its Cutter Ray, you can collect over 10,000 ore and materials in just 7 minutes, including nearly 500 fuel cells per node.
Compared to hand-mining or even the Ornithopter, the buggy is vastly superior for farming resources.

Steel Research Tier
In order to use the buggy, you must research Steel at the top of the technology tree first.
Even so, you should carry out initial research and get enough Intel points by visiting outposts and achieving objectives.
After you get into this tier, you are able to investigate the buggy as well as important elements such as the Cutter Ray and the storage modules.
It is very important to unlock these parts to make a useful and complete mining buggy.

Gather Necessary Parts
As soon as you have the buggy, you have to assemble it by adding engines, tracks, and storage units.
Health and mana are supplied by many outposts across the map, especially in Jabal and the Eastern Shield Wall.
Still, the Cutter Ray is hard to find in nature and is normally fashioned in a laboratory.

Build A Vehicle Fabricator
To craft the buggy, you must build a Vehicle Fabricator, which itself demands steel ingots and advanced machinery.
Once you have the fabricator, you can start crafting the buggy parts. The key materials are steel (from iron and carbide ore), water (from farms), advanced servoks (Imperial Testing Grounds), cobalt paste (chemical refineries), particle capacitors (Imperial Training Stations), and Holtzman actuators (shipwrecks).

The Cutter Ray
Once you have all your materials, build the chassis, hull, engine, power supply unit, treads, utility rear, Cutter Ray, and storage modules on the Vehicle Fabricator.
Further, fit the Cutter Ray in front of your ship and install extra storage modules to get more space for resources. This process completes your buggy so it’s ready for collecting materials.

Uses Of Buggy In Deltarune
Plan your buggy route to pass by all the deposits close to your base, which are iron, carbon, aluminum, and fuel cell.
Cutter Ray on the buggy leads to a big increase in resources, with fuel cells giving up to 500 per node, much higher than the 90 gathered by hand.
It’s important to have various water storage containers, since water gets collected from the surrounding farms and is required for creating items and looking after your vehicles.
It is best to put your buggy inside to keep it safe from sandstorms and stop it from becoming damaged.
