Starting The Veronique Boss Fight In Lies Of P
Players will encounter Vernique, the leader of the Sweepers, immediately upon entering the Coolant Control Room.
Before the boss battle begins, it’s recommended to use a fire-resistant potion, as most of her attacks inflict additional fire damage.
She begins the fight by charging at you, and upon impact, ignites the area with flames that deal damage over time.
Using the Perfection Grindstone makes nearly all of her attacks blockable or parryable, making it easier to endure the battle.
Additionally, blocking her attacks builds up her stagger, providing players with a brief opportunity to deal damage.
Purchase the Grindstone from Pulcinella at Hotel Krat after you give him a total of three Venigni Collection boxes.
She constantly moves and charges at you, so the only way to deal significant damage is by parrying or staggering her.
Furthermore, after you reduce her health by about 40%, she will ignite her hammer, causing even her basic attacks to set you on fire.
The only attack that cannot be blocked, even with the Perfection Grindstone, is the Jet of Flames.
However, she remains stationary during the attack, providing a great opportunity to land a heavy strike.
Defeating Veronique The Leader Of The Sweepers
After you defeat the boss, she will fall to her knees and stay there until you approach and interact with her.
Interacting with her triggers a cutscene in which she reveals that the cure twisted her mind and drove her to hostility.
Defeating her rewards players with items such as Veronique’s Will, the Coolant Control Room Console Key, the Blue Sheep’s Mask, and the Blue Sheep’s Battle Apparel.
