Lumacchio is one of the emotional and tricky bosses in Lies of P. When you meet him, he doesn’t act like a hero or villain. He just wants to survive.
At the start, he mocks you, saying, “How in the world are you still alive, huh?” He’s upset that all his plans failed. He also talks about Leia Florence, the legendary stalker, who escaped his trap.
The boss doesn’t care about things like justice or honor and says those ideas don’t matter anymore. He’s just doing what Sir Simon told him to do.
Lumacchio In Lies Of P: Overture DLC
Before the fight, Lumacchio says he hates violence and is glad the alchemist killed Veronique. Then he suddenly drinks an elixia and says it’s time to fight.
If you beat him or spare him, he starts begging. He says none of it was his idea and blames the alchemists and says he had no choice.

If you walk away, he tells you that you’re no better than the people he worked with. When you rest and come back, he’s already dead.
He leaves a letter behind, calling you a liar just like him and saying you’ll have to make hard choices too.
How To Beat Lumacchio In The Boss Fight
If you’re using a light and fast build, like the acid crystal spear, this fight can be easier.
In the first phase, he has moments where he stops moving. That’s your chance to dodge behind him and do a backstab.

When he does the red glowing move, parry it and then backstab him again. Watch for when he raises his umbrella too, use that to move behind him.
In the second phase, switch to a fire weapon like the Salamander dagger. Dodge his attacks and hit when he’s open.
If his health flashes white and you’re far, throw a shot put to stagger him. Use the flamethrower legion arm when he’s down.

Use carcass, human, and critical hit rings for more damage. Also keep repair tools and purification ampules ready to stop decay.
You can also block attacks using Aegis to stay safe during his stronger moves. This fight isn’t just about combat. It’s also about the kind of person you choose to be.
