Is Lou Dead In Death Stranding 2: On The Beach
The baby character, Lou, whom we saw in the Death Stranding initial installments, might not appear again in the game.
So, technically, it appears that the Lou we loved as the baby in the pod is dead in Death Stranding 2, following the tragic incident involving Fragile, Lou’s caretaker.

However, the actual details about Lou’s death, apart from the theories that Fragile kills her, are not officially out.
But it’s not so simple that Hideo Kojima ends the game without leaving a mystery behind, so there is quite a chance that something new about Lou’s disappearance might be unveiled soon.
Is Tomorrow Lou In Death Stranding 2: On The Beach
Once you start the game, you will come across a task where you, as Sam, need to find Lou and Fragile.
Progressing through the mission, you will come across a tragic incident where Fragile and Lou were attacked by a mysterious force, leaving Fragile injured.
You will discover that Lou Baby Pod is glowing red, meaning that she is dead in the game, while Sam is still hoping for Lou’s appearance.
Later in the game, a mysterious girl named Tomorrow is introduced, and she appears to Lou in some form, though her true origins remain unresolved.
As of the day of this writing, we know that the baby form of Lou is dead, and the new girl, Tomorrow, is Lou, with further mysteries to be revealed.
