This latest update has featured several new characters, including Maleficent and Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.
With the new characters in the game, you will definitely get a new friendship quest. Dreams and Dark Design is the one for Aurora.
Dreams And Dark Design Quest In Dreamlight Valley
To start Dreams and Dark Design, you must reach level 10 with Aurora, which you can do by interacting with her, serving meals, and offering gifts.
After getting the quest, you can follow up on the objectives and progress through your friendship journey with Aurora.
The first objective for this quest is to talk with villagers: Flynn and Merida, which you can easily complete without help.
Once you are done with the NPCs, return to Aurora, and she will lead you ahead by asking you to meet Hades.
Craft Dream Spinner For The Quest
After meeting Hades and Maleficent in Hades’ House, you will get the new objective, which is to gather materials for crafting the Dream Spinner.
This new objective might take some time for you, as you must collect several materials to craft the Dream Spinner.
Here is the list of all required materials and where you can find them for the quest;
- Star Sapphire: The Wild Woods, Teapot Falls, The Fallen Fortress
- Volcanic Rock: The Elysian Fields. The Fiery Plains, Teapt Falls (Dig for it)
- Petrified Wood: The Wild Woods, The Library of Lore, The Bind (Via Mining)
- Dream Threads from the Sacred Spring in the Elysian Fields
Once you have the materials, start crafting the Dream Spinner at the crafting station and offer it to the Aurora, and then progress to the mission by talking to Remy.
As you progress through the quest, you will need to cook Warm Spiced Milk and offer it to Aurora. Later, interact with the Dream Spinner to get the Dream Image.
Go To Mount Olympus To Find The Other End Of THe Dream Image
The Dream image you obtain from the Dream Spinner is half; now you must reach the top of Mount Olympus to complete the image and find the place.
Once in the area, interact with the Rift to get the second part of the image and then talk with the Lorekeeper and Aurora about the image.
Finally, after talking with both of them, you will reach the end of the mission with the final objective of confronting Maleficent and Hades in Maleficent’s Castle.
After confronting the character, you will be able to end this mission with rewards of 3080 Friendship Stars. Apart from the rewards, you will also unlock the Two Flames United quest once you complete the Friendship quest.
