HIGHLIGHTS
- The actual meaning of Bay is a broad inlet of the sea where the land curves inwards, but in today’s NYT Connections, it refers to a “Sound Like a Dog.”
- Bark, Hown, and Snarl are other remaining words that complete today’s Yellow group along with Bay.
- The words Muddle also seem to have different meanings, but in today’s Connections game, it refers to “Cocktail-Making Verbs.”
The NYT Connections game for November 20 is now available with its #528 edition, with exciting word associations.
As usual, today’s game includes 16 words, but today’s word structure seems a bit different than usual, as all the words are shorter and single.
As expected, a few words like Bay, Muddle, and Snarl in today’s game seem tougher than I thought, making it difficult to group them.
Answers For Today’s NYT Connections With Bay Meaning
Analyzing today’s Connections words, I thought the first four words that would come together in a group were Air, Stream, Run, and Play, as they somehow relate to starting a broadcast or some streaming.
So, without any delay, I grouped the words and got the green group titled “Broadcast, As Online Media.“
Moving further with the remaining words, I collected Bark, Howl, and Snarl, which remained difficult to get.
After taking a few minutes to observe, I thought to go with Stir, but my friends stopped me, asking me to go for Bay.
I was a bit confused by his suggestion. Bay basically means a broad inlet of the sea where the land curves inwards, which seems hard to connect with Bark and other words.
However, taking my friend’s suggestion, I grouped out Bay, Bark, Snarl, and Howl and got the yellow group titled” Sound Like A Dog.”
So, observing the remaining words, I thought of picking Muddle and connecting it with its other words, as Muddle seems to have multiple meanings.
Muddle Meaning In #528 NYT Connections With All Answers
Later, after a few minutes of observation, I came to figure out that Muddle also means
mix (a drink) or stir (an ingredient) into a drink.
With this meaning, I connected words like Stir, Garnish, Strain, and Muddle, leading me to the group “Cocktail-Making Verbs.”
Finally, after losing one attempt and taking friends’ suggestions, I completed the November 20 NYT Connections with the following answers;
- Sound Like a Dog (Yellow): Bark, Bay, Howl, Snarl
- Broadcast, As Online Media (Green): Air, Play, Run, Stream
- Cocktail-Making Verbs (Blue): Garnish, Muddle, Stir, Strain
- Organizational Structures, Metaphorically (Purple): Chain, Ladder, Pyramid, Tree
NYT Connections is not the only game New York Times Publishers offer; players can check out other NYT Games, like Strands and Crossword if they are unaware.
