DRAGON BALL: SPARKING! Zero is set to become a fresh addition to the long list of the Dragon Ball video games.
The game is scheduled to be released on October 11, 2024, and is playable on Steam, Playstation, and Xbox Series.
However, the most unique feature of the Sparking! Zero is the introduction to the What If mode; allowing players to create the scenarios and battles of their choices.
What If Mode: Goku Vs Vegeta On The Planet Earth
Fans are excited about the introduction of the What If game mode. In addition to creating hypothetical battles, the players can share them with other players around the globe.
One such daunting scenario we can think of is the possibility of Goku transforming into Super Saiyan early and facing Vegeta.
The storyline kicks off with Raditz kidnapping Gohan, the elder son of Goku. Goku understands that he is no match for Raditz’s overwhelming strength.
Further, Piccolo pays a visit to Goku and offers him a helping hand. The duo of Goku and Piccolo defeat Raditz in a battle afterward.
However, the defeated Raditz warns them about the possibility of two Saiyans in outer space avenging his death.
Likewise, Goku and Gohan resume their training. A cut scene shows the two Saiyans approaching the Earth, as predicted by Raditz.
Goku receives the Senzu Beans and immediately hurries to Korin Tower to join his companions.
He finds his friends engaged in a faceoff with the Saibamen. Vegeta, leading the antagonist troops, meets Goku for the first time in the storyline.
After Goku slays Saibamen, Nappa steps up to face him. Following a brutal battle, Nappa defeats Goku, but Piccolo and Gohan save him from being killed.
Thereafter, Nappa turns his attention to Piccolo, allowing Goku to use Senzu Beans and recharge himself. However, Piccolo doesn’t survive the fatal attacks.
A fired-up Goku finally defeats Nappa; who cries out for help. However, Vegeta kills a paralysed Nappa; branding him a deadweight.
What If Mode : Super Saiyan Goku Vs Super Saiyan Vegeta
Further, Goku and Vegeta commence their battle. A fiery battle ensues with Goku losing his consciousness due to Vegeta’s attacks.
When he regains his composure, Goku finds his friends’ brutal defeat at the hands of Vegeta. Powerful Vegeta comfortably overpowers everyone.
Just when monster Vegeta is about to crush Goku, to everyone’s surprise, Goku morphs into Super Saiyan.
Vegeta is defeated and he leaves the planet, vowing to avenge the defeat. Likewise, Goku proceeds to planet Namek in search of Dragon Balls.
In Namek, Goku is shocked to see Vegeta again, who has awakened to his own Super Saiyan powers.
A legendary battle between Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Vegeta kicks off. Both of them realize that the victory will pave an uninterrupted path to Dragon Balls.
Following a hard-fought battle, Goku defeats Vegeta but doesn’t kill him. The two rivals vow to face each other yet again in the future.
The victorious Goku returns to his home to his friends with the Dragon Balls. An ending scene shows the ever-improving Goku pondering about his next challenge.
