Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh Meaning In NYT Strands For July 7, 2025

Take me home, oh Muddah, Faddah. Take me home, I hate Grenada.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • For today’s Strands theme, “Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh,” you need to search for surroundings or items that you often see during a youth or school camp.
  • The Spangram for today’s edition is ten letters long, starting from S and ending with P.
  • FL, LA, LO, BU, FI, and CA are the two initial letters of the remaining six words for the theme.

Today’s NYT Strands theme was quite interesting and unique at the same time, as it featured different sets of words than usual days.

The words “Muddah” and “Fadduh” essentially serve as homophones to “Mother” and “Father” today.

If you want a hint, the theme today has something to do with Allan Sherman, a late American musician, satirist, and television producer.

Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh Meaning In NYT Strands (July 7, 2025)

If you have listened to the ” Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh song before, you will have an upper hand on solving the puzzle.

Today’s theme revolves around a child’s misery at Camp Granada, the camp depicted in the song. You have to find surroundings, you see, except for the Spangram.

Also, for those who have read the book, Camp Grenada, you will get the words even faster. You can also try to find any three random words consisting of four or more letters to get the hints.

Today’s theme is quite tricky.

If you are still stuck on the puzzle, here is a list of words you can use to solve the puzzle;

  • FLAGPOLE
  • LAKE
  • LODGE
  • BUNK
  • FIELDHOUSE
  • CANTEEN
  • SUMMERCAMP (Spangram)

The first word I got was Lodge, followed by Flagpole. After a brief time, I got the Spangram at third.

While it did take more time than usual to get past the game, given the difficult Theme, I still prefer to solve it without hints.

If you can invest more time in Strands, you can also try the same approach. Else, hints are always there for help.

Lastly, try exploring other NYT games such as Connections, Wordle, Crossword, and Spelling Bee if you enjoy puzzle games.
