Mimsy Were The Borogoves quest begins by speaking to Alice, who guides you through a treasure hunt using a series of poem-based riddles leading to hidden bottles in mysterious locations.
Players need to gather materials to craft the Wonderland Candles, then place them around the log in the Forest of Valor.
Placing the candles around the log lures out the Jabberwock, revealing a hidden kaleidoscope that, once returned to Alice, completes the quest.

The highly anticipated Wonderland Whimsy update arrived in Dreamlight Valley on April 23.

The update introduces two new residents to the realm—Alice and the Cheshire Cat along with a variety of new content.

Mimsy Were the Borogoves is a Friendship Quest offered by Alice once players reach Friendship Level 4 with her.

You should speak with Alice to begin the quest, where she’ll ask for your help in uncovering a treasure by deciphering a series of poems.

The first clue in the poem is “a place of sunbaked pleasure,” which refers to Dazzle Beach.

Head to Dazzle Beach, where players will spot a buried bottle. Approach it and dig it up to retrieve it.

Players must bring the bottle back to Alice, who will uncover another clue presented in the form of a poem.

The second clue reads “dark cavern with mystic lights,” referring to a location that can also be found on the beach.

A cavern borders Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach; players need to enter it to continue progressing in the quest.

Inside, you will find Mome Raths, a type of flower. Water them as you make your way toward the pond.

In the center of the pond, you will find another bottle. Use your fishing rod to fish it out.

Give the bottle to Alice, and she will read the final clue for the Mimsy Were the Borogoves quest.

The final clue requires you to search for the Jabberwock in its “house of bark” within a “wooded yard” in Dreamlight Valley.

The poem refers to the log located in the Forest of Valor. Once you find the log, speak with Alice.

She will then ask you to gather the following materials to craft the Wonderland Candles. The items are:

Players can refer to the Collection menu to find out where different items can be found.

Collect all the required materials and craft the Wonderland Candles at your crafting station.

Now, head back to the Jabberwock’s house of bark in Dreamlight Valley and place the candle where it is hiding.

This will draw out the Jabberwock, allowing you to retrieve the kaleidoscope hidden inside the log.

Now return the kaleidoscope to Alice, which will mark the end of the Mimsy Were the Borogoves quest.
