Night Sanctum is a major new feature introduced in the “Thralls of Twilight” update for Enshrouded.
The Sanctums, also called Night Temples, a special points of interest scattered across every region of Embervale.
Further, they challenge adventurers with puzzles, traps, and enemies, offering unique rewards and lore that make nighttime exploration thrilling and rewarding.
Access Night Sanctum Enshrouded
Night Sanctum, also called Night Temples, are special dungeons located within the Shroud.
These sanctums remain locked during the day, and only reveal their entrance doors once it turns dark.
The doors begin to glow at night, signaling that they’re ready to be entered. However, even inside the sanctums, players remain affected by Shroud fatigue.
Exploring A Sanctum
Players meet various challenges as they explore the sanctums. They have to traverse endless gaps and avoid getting hurt by all the hidden spikes.
Besides fighting, sometimes players must use different mechanisms to open the following area.
Moreover, they will face enemies, adding an element of combat to the puzzle-solving. At the end of each sanctum lies a silver chest filled with valuable loot.
For instance, the player receives a Scholar of the Young Flame helmet, which will turn out to be a stylish cosmetic item.
Weapon Gem Forges
These sacred places are home to exciting Gem Forges as well. In these stations, you can equipment your gems with special gear that increases your effectiveness.
You may gather gems, change them into materials or strengthen them to improve your character’s weapon.
To do this, you need Archaic Essence, a rare crafting material. However, to upgrade certain gems, you may need to farm lower-level versions to use the forge effectively.
Further, You’ll also come across Shroud Nests and strange traps that can be destroyed for useful materials.
Bird Feeders And Base Updates
With the update, a new Bird Feeder was included so that you can bring birds to your camp using food.
When the birds stop by, they shed feathers used for making crafts. It is possible to upgrade your feeders to get larger, more helpful birds visiting them.
With this system, you can enjoy a quiet activity at base that helps you gain materials.
